Prince George’s Metro Center, Inc., is in the midst of completing a development vision that began over four decades ago when famed Kennedy Center architect, Edward Durell Stone, was contracted to design a town center featuring three office buildings. Later, nationally known WDG Architecture (WDG) was contracted to design a fourth office building which won an award for “best built-to-suit suburban office building.†University Town Center has over 1.2 million square feet of office space.
Since then the 56 acre project, known as University Town Center, has reached a very exciting point in its development cycle. Currently the project is undergoing an expansive $1.2 Billion redevelopment adding:
